Stevie Taggert

Stevie is a teenager under the guardianship of Dr Kreizler. Although he's not formally a member of the team, he does contribute quite considerably to the efforts of the adults in the investigation.

The Angel of Darkness, 95:

The Doctor pulled out his watch and began to fiddle with it in a way that was strange for him: like he wasn't sure just how to say what was on his mind. "I - do not expect to ever have children, Stevie. Of my own, I mean. But if I were to have a son - I could only wish that he would have your courage. In all ways."

John originally knew Stevie as simply the ward of Dr Kreizler, however, as time went on their relationship turned into a long lasting friendship. The following quotes or statements were made by John in reference to Stevie's character.

Stevie had been continuing to run "errands" for me on a regular basis, and the process of keeping this activity hidden from Kreizler had forged something of a bond between us, one that permitted straightforward communication.
